Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential electrical work and a strong understanding of electrical safety and regulations. This role will involve installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in a variety of settings, including commercial and industrial facilities.
Responsibilities:
  • Install, test, and inspect electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, and circuit breakers.
  • Use a variety of power tools, including drills, saws, and wire strippers.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs to ensure electrical systems are functioning safely and efficiently.
  • Use electrical test equipment, such as an ammeter, ohmmeter, and voltmeter, to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues.
  • Adhere to all relevant electrical codes, including the National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including construction workers and carpenters, to complete projects.
  • Work safely and efficiently, minimizing downtime and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program or vocational training in electrical technology.
  • Current and valid electrician license.
  • Proficiency with commercial and industrial electrical systems.
  • Experience with electrical schematics and blueprints.
  • Strong understanding of electrical safety regulations, including OSHA guidelines.
  • Familiarity with power tools and electrical test equipment.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and tools.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
