Journeyman Electrician (01 or 07 License Required) Spokane, WA Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM $38.00 - $43.00 per hour Full-Time | Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Federal Facilities Contract Position Summary The Electrician serves as the primary electrical technician for the facility and is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and inspecting electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient building operations. This role is part of a multidisciplinary Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team. While electrical systems are the primary focus, the Electrician will also support other facility maintenance activities as needed, including HVAC, mechanical, and general building systems. This is a hands-on role ideal for a skilled tradesperson who values variety, teamwork, and working in a mission-driven facilities environment.

$43.09/hr Benefits Paid Vacation and Sick Leave Paid Holidays Cell Phone Allowance Boot Reimbursement Program Mileage Reimbursement Paid Training & License Renewals Stable Monday-Friday schedule (no rotating shifts) Key Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, equipment, and controls. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical distribution systems, lighting, motors, panels, and related components. Conduct routine facility inspections to ensure safe and proper operation of all building systems. Respond to service calls and urgent maintenance requests in a timely manner. Complete work orders, maintenance logs, and inspection reports accurately and on schedule. Assist with preventive maintenance and minor repairs on HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, and other building systems as part of an integrated O&M team. Collaborate with technicians from other trades to support overall facility performance. Support the On-Site Supervisor with material estimates and task planning when required. Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and company/client requirements. Other duties related to facility operations and maintenance as assigned. Requirements Valid Washington State 01 or 07 Electrician License Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in commercial building maintenance, facilities operations, or similar environment Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control circuits, and HVAC fundamentals Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently Strong communication and teamwork skills This job requires a federal background check. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods Ability to work at heights and in confined mechanical spaces Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Manual dexterity to safely use tools and testing equipment Ability to distinguish colors for wiring and electrical identification Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions (mechanical rooms, rooftops, outdoors) Use of required PPE including gloves, safety glasses, hard hats, and hearing protection About MASE MASE
