Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Residential Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems within residential properties. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and code-compliant electrical solutions that enhance our clients' homes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from new construction to renovations, with a focus on delivering top-quality service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, outlets, switches, and fixtures in residential settings. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical plans. Conduct inspections to ensure electrical systems meet NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and safety regulations. Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete electrical installations and repairs. Diagnose electrical issues using testing devices such as ohmmeters and low voltage testers. Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects, ensuring seamless integration of electrical systems. Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and safety inspections for each project. Skills Proven experience as a residential electrician with knowledge of NEC standards. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical diagrams. Strong understanding of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment. Experience working on construction sites, renovations, or new builds. Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical instructions accurately. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus for specialized projects. Handyman experience or frame carpentry skills are beneficial for versatile project support. Industrial or commercial electrician experience is advantageous but not required. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting electrical issues.
