Job Description
About the Role As an Industrial Maintenance Electrician, you will serve as a critical technical resource responsible for the reliability and performance of our plant-wide electrical infrastructure. You will drive operational uptime by proactively maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading complex power and control systems to ensure seamless production. Responsibilities Execute the installation and commissioning of electrical systems for new facility infrastructure and equipment upgrades. Diagnose and resolve complex failures in power distribution, lighting, and industrial control systems to minimize downtime. Perform preventative maintenance on electrical components, conduit, and wiring to extend the lifespan of critical machinery. Interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and control logic diagrams to guide precise installations and repairs. Operate specialized shop equipment, including grinders and drills, to fabricate or modify parts as needed for electrical projects. Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation to track system health and ensure compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance overall equipment efficiency. Uphold rigorous safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace to foster a secure environment. Qualifications Required Skills Valid State Journeyman or Master Electrician license in good standing. 3-5 years of hands-on experience with industrial or commercial electrical systems, including motor controls and power distribution. Proven proficiency working safely with voltage ranges from 120V to 480V. Advanced ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Preferred Skills Experience with PLC programming, VFD configuration, and building management systems. Strong background in industrial maintenance within a high-volume manufacturing or production environment. Technical degree or certification in Electrical Technology or Industrial Maintenance.
