Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Master Electrician to lead electrical projects across diverse settings, including commercial, industrial, and renovation sites. As a licensed master electrician, you will oversee electrical installations, ensure compliance with safety standards, and mentor apprentices and journeymen. Your expertise will drive the successful completion of complex electrical systems while maintaining the highest quality standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your extensive electrical knowledge in dynamic environments, ensuring safety and efficiency on every project. Responsibilities Lead and supervise electrical installation, maintenance, and repair activities on residential and commercial site projects. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute precise wiring and system layouts. Coordinate electrical activities with project managers, foremen, subcontractors, inspectors, and customers. Utilize hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment to diagnose electrical issues accurately. Develop material takeoffs and labor estimates. Assist with proposal preparation and project budgeting. Plan, organize, and execute electrical installations, upgrades, repairs, and warranty work. Install, troubleshoot, and repair low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and national electrical codes. Maintain knowledge of NEC requirements and code updates. Able to pull permits, lead inspections, and utility requirements. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, including proper handling of high voltage systems and adherence to OSHA standards. Mentor junior electricians and apprentices, fostering a safe work environment while promoting skill development. Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and according to company standards. Requirements Must Have Licensing & Certifications Active Master Electrician License in the State of Wisconsin or ability to obtain Wisconsin reciprocity if licensed in another state. Experience Minimum 7 years of electrical experience. Minimum 2 years working in a leadership role (Lead Electrician, Foreman, Electrical Supervisor, etc.). Experience with residential and commercial electrical systems. Experience performing service work, troubleshooting, and electrical repairs.
Technical Knowledge Thorough knowledge of:
National Electrical Code (NEC) Wisconsin electrical codes and regulations Electrical permits and inspections Load calculations Service sizing Panel upgrades Grounding and bonding requirements Ability to read and interpret: Construction plans Electrical schematics Blueprints Specifications & permitting Physical Requirements Ability to lift 75 lbs. Ability to work on ladders, roofs, scaffolding, and job sites. Ability to work in varying weather conditions. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record. OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days). Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Why Join Our Company?
