In this vital role, you will oversee electrical installations, ensure compliance with safety standards, and mentor junior electricians. Your expertise in both commercial and industrial electrical systems will drive successful project completion, enhance safety protocols, and uphold the highest quality standards. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate electrical installation and maintenance activities on construction sites, ensuring adherence to blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications. Read and interpret complex electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide installation processes. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical systems effectively. Install, test, and maintain low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards. Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in industrial automation systems. Conduct inspections of electrical work for safety, quality, and code compliance; address any deficiencies promptly. Mentor and supervise apprentice electricians, fostering a culture of safety, precision, and continuous improvement. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including schematics updates, inspection reports, and project logs. Qualifications Extensive experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a proven track record on construction sites. Deep knowledge of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems; familiarity with NEC regulations is essential. Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment necessary for electrical troubleshooting. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) in industrial environments. Demonstrated ability to work safely on renovation projects involving complex wiring tasks within construction settings. Excellent understanding of schematics, construction drawings, and schematic diagrams for various electrical systems. Ability to interpret technical instructions clearly and execute tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
