Manufacturing Engineer/Estimator
JOB DESCRIPTION A
client is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Huntsville, AL. This is joining a team of five due to company growth. The manufacturing estimation team is responsible for taking technical data packages, reviewing the drawings and spec (sometimes models), and creating the BOM from scratch, informing scheduling team of things like material labor estimations. Overall determination of how long each part will take to get through each shop team for manufacturing and production effort.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 5+ YOE
Ability to gain a clearance Bill of Material (BOM) creation Excel OR Epicore OR ERP System experience
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Active secret Bachelors or Masters Material labor estimation
