We perform the electrical installation for new buildings, civic projects, and we upgrade existing systems and expand them to meet the growing needs of our clients and are committed to a job well done. We are seeking an eager and dedicated Estimator to join our family! In This Position, You Will Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents to determine project requirements. Perform quantity take-offs and labor calculations. Develop competitive bid proposals and maintain bid schedules. Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving alternatives. Maintain estimating databases, labor units, and historical cost information. Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as required. Ensure compliance with company standards, safety requirements, and client specifications. Qualifications High school diploma or GED; associate or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or related field preferred. Minimum of 1-3 years of electrical estimating experience preferred. Knowledge of electrical systems, materials, methods, and construction practices. Proficiency in estimating software platforms. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents. Preferred Skills Experience estimating commercial and industrial electrical projects. Knowledge of NEC codes and local regulations. Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
