This is not an entry-level role. The selected candidate must be capable of independently managing trade coverage, reviewing subcontractor proposals for compliance, and supporting multiple concurrent federal solicitations. Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs across multiple CSI divisions
• Develop and issue comprehensive scope sheets to subcontractors
• Solicit, track, and level bids using BuildingConnected or similar platforms
• Analyze subcontractor proposals for scope completeness, compliance, and risk gaps
• Identify and resolve scope overlaps, exclusions, and pricing inconsistencies
• Assist as needed by Lead Estimator in preparing fully developed estimates using Sage Estimating
• Maintain organized, audit-ready bid files and documentation
• Coordinate with Senior Estimators and PMs for post-award turnover Minimum Qualifications (Required)
• 3-7 years of construction estimating experience (federal preferred)
• Demonstrated experience with federal solicitations (USACE, NAVFAC, DoD, NASA etc.)
• Strong ability to interpret plans, specifications, and federal contract requirements
• Proven experience performing independent takeoffs and scope analysis
• Proficiency in Excel and estimating software (PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar)
• Ability to manage multiple bids under strict deadlines Preferred Experience
• Direct experience with USACE, NASA and AF projects and specifications
• Familiarity with SAM.gov solicitations and amendment tracking
• Experience with Sage Estimating, BuildingConnected and Autodesk
• Working knowledge of CMMC federal compliance
