Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare timely and accurate estimates of quantities of all fabricated reinforcing bar, mesh accessories, and related products required for bidding projects Communicate effectively and professionally with customers and teammates on all aspects of estimating and bidding process Maintain up-to-date bid calendar to ensure complete estimating, bid schedules, and upcoming work projects Assist in the quoting for materials so assigned customer accounts are certain to receive bids on work they are pursuing Maintain spreadsheet showing all future construction opportunities through the use of Dodge reports The job description and responsibilities described are intended to provide guidelines for job expectations and the employee's ability to perform the position described. Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; OR six months to one year related experience and training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience Proficient working knowledge of AutoCAD (2010 or higher), MicroStation, ASA Rebar, iSqFt, and reading blueprints Ability to express ideas and thoughts both in written and verbal forms in a clear and respectful manner. Must be able to communicate to customers and co-workers in a clear and concise manner.
