Job Description

The position will initially be based in Phoenix for the design phase and will then move to a 4x1 rotation in Bagdad, AZ during the construction phase of the project. This will be supporting the project team on an active construction site and will be responsible for complying with company corporate estimating procedures while developing and review change orders and estimates.
Duties include:
Reviewing contractor change orders against the baseline budget and assisting in the overall change management process. Developing internal company change orders as needed. Reviewing and assessing contractor estimates, bids, and proposals for overall completeness and competitiveness against market conditions, while also assuring the contractor has met overall corporate estimating guidelines. Developing Direct, Indirect, Escalation, Contingency, and Owner's Cost elements for estimates. Assisting in the collection of project actuals for incorporation into estimating benchmarking database. Working with Corporate Estimating Manager to ensure all corporate estimating standard operating procedures are adhered to. This position will report to the Project Controls Manager for an active project.
