Masis Staffing Solutions Position Overview Masis Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Pipe Estimator for a growing industrial fabrication and piping operation in Phoenix, AZ. This is an excellent direct hire opportunity for a detail oriented professional with experience reviewing project specifications, preparing accurate cost estimates, and supporting large scale industrial or mechanical piping projects. The ideal candidate will have strong blueprint reading abilities, knowledge of piping systems and fabrication processes, and the ability to work effectively in a fast paced, high production environment with extended work hours and overtime. Key Responsibilities Review project drawings, specifications, and bid documents to prepare accurate cost estimates Analyze labor, materials, equipment, and production requirements for piping projects Prepare detailed takeoffs and estimate summaries Collaborate with project managers, fabrication teams, and operations staff Evaluate project scope changes and adjust estimates accordingly Communicate with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing and lead times Support proposal preparation and bid submission processes Maintain organized estimating records and project documentation Assist with production planning and scheduling as needed Qualifications Previous experience as a Pipe Estimator, Mechanical Estimator, or Industrial Estimator required Strong understanding of industrial piping systems and fabrication processes Ability to read and interpret blueprints, isometrics, and technical drawings Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Excel Strong mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Preferred Experience Industrial, mechanical, process piping, or fabrication environment experience Knowledge of welding, piping materials, and shop fabrication operations Experience supporting large industrial or manufacturing projects Physical & Work Environment Office and industrial shop environment Long workdays and overtime expected Fast paced, deadline driven production environment Why Join Us Direct hire opportunity with long term career potential Competitive pay based on experience Consistent overtime available Stable and growing industrial operation Opportunity to work on large scale fabrication and piping projects Masis Staffing is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
