job summary: Join a premier national builder in Phoenix where the preconstruction team thoroughly plans, budgets, and scopes every complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system to ensure flawless project execution. As an MEP Estimator, you will drive the strategic bridge between accurate conceptual budgeting, complex systems scoping, and field constructability. Tempe, Arizona job type: Permanent salary: $110,000 - 165,000 per year work hours: 8am to 5pm education: High School responsibilities: Responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of commercial/industrial construction proposals and bids by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and project logistics to compute labor, material, and time costs.

Requires at least four years of MEP estimating experience across public, private, or federal projectsLeads comprehensive quantity take-offs and collaborates with the preconstruction team to formulate detailed project pricing, risk scoping, and preliminary construction schedules.

Directs the initial project discovery phase by visiting jobsites and attending pre-bid meetings to thoroughly evaluate site conditions and general requirement constraints.

Demands proficiency in specialized industry software including Cost-OS, On-Screen Takeoff, PlanSwift, and Bluebeam to ensure accurate data analysis and seamless project workflow. #randstadengineering The essential functions of this role include:working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week qualifications: Experience level: ExperiencedMinimum 4 years of experience
