DESCRIPTION:
Our client is looking for a dedicated individual who enjoys leading a team to implement projects while meeting or exceeding customer's expectations. This person will determine the ways to move projects ahead even when challenges appear.
DUTIES:
Manages all assigned projects without supervision, to include contract review, engineering calculations, permit administrative functions, order entry, shipping/installation coordination, and acceptance. Establishes and maintains project development and installation schedule. Creates timetable and milestones for project implementation, ensures that project remains on schedule. Consistent internal and external communications on job progress and changes. Identifies and presents for discussion all potential job cost savings on individual projects.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities, but the Project Manager is expected to be a leader of the project team and instruct support staff of tasks and deadlines. Essential Functions
Responsible for all day-to-day operations on the project site including but not limited to:
Troubleshooting
Paperwork
Material takeoffs
Proficient in using a computer and the below listed programs: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) and Bluebeam software.
Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
Ability to encourage and motivate your construction team.
Communicate with:
Owners
Suppliers
City officials (if applicable)
Inspectors
Complete knowledge of subcontracts
Understanding of project documents
The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to those listed above.

Drug Testing Required
Ensure that this is a healthy and accident-free work environment on during the project for direct hire individuals with the following expectations:

Point of contact for Owner/Client Safety Representatives
Post all safety bulletins, safety posters, safety rules, and applicable legislation.
Coordinate the transportation of injured employees to a physician's office or hospital.
Maintain relations with project physicians, the workers' compensation case nurse, ambulance service, fire department and hospitals.
Comply with Employee Handbook. Continually learn new products and policies. Be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, vendors and customers at all levels in person, in writing and on the telephone. Be able to manage time effectively and maintain an acceptable attendance record. Time management and organizational abilities will be key skills needed for success. Be willing to work off-hours as specific needs dictate. EDUCATION and/or Experience Bachelor's degree (Preferred) or Project or Construction Management Experience in lieu of full 4-year degree will be considered.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Be able to speak, read and write fluently in English - Spanish is not required but is a bonus. Be able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Be able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid, unrestricted Class C driver license with no more than allowable number of points on record.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
