Job Description

Commercial Fencing & Structural Steel Estimator Location:
Costa Mesa, CA Radan Construction Inc. (RCI) is seeking an experienced Commercial Fencing & Structural Steel Estimator to join our growing team. This position is responsible for reviewing plans and specifications, performing takeoffs, soliciting subcontractor and vendor pricing, preparing proposals, and helping secure profitable projects throughout Southern California.
Responsibilities:
Review plans, specifications, and bid documents Perform accurate quantity takeoffs for commercial fencing, gates, structural steel, and miscellaneous metals Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing Prepare competitive project estimates and proposals Identify scope gaps, exclusions, and value engineering opportunities Coordinate with project managers, vendors, and clients throughout the bidding process Assist with project handoff after award
Qualifications:
3+ years of estimating experience in commercial fencing, structural steel, miscellaneous metals, or related trades Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Strong organizational and communication skills Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and team-focused Why RCI?
