Commercial Plumbing Estimator East Los Angeles County Position Overview A well-established commercial plumbing contractor in Southern California is seeking an experienced Commercial Plumbing Estimator to join its growing team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in tenant improvement projects and the ability to manage multiple bids in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Perform detailed quantity take-offs for commercial plumbing projects Maintain organized take-off spreadsheets, including material breakdowns, supporting documentation, and project summaries Identify constructability issues during the estimating process Solicit and coordinate pricing from subcontractors and suppliers Maintain all working documents and backup data supporting estimates Analyze blueprints, specifications, and related documents to prepare accurate cost, labor, and time estimates Interpret construction drawings and apply current market pricing Support additional estimating and preconstruction tasks as needed Qualifications 5+ years of experience in commercial plumbing estimating preferred Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Solid understanding of commercial plumbing systems and construction practices Experience with fast-paced tenant improvement (TI) projects Proficiency in Excel and Word; Bluebeam experience is a plus Experience with Trimble or QuickPen is required Strong math, organizational, and multitasking skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Strong communication and interpersonal skills Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally as needed Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $80,000 - $110,000+ (DOE) Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) plan Paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays
