Job Description
Join Our Team We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Reconstruction Estimator to help homeowners and businesses recover after property damage. In this role, you'll be responsible for inspecting losses, developing accurate estimates, and collaborating with customers, insurance carriers, and internal teams to successfully move reconstruction projects from scope to completion. The ideal candidate must have strong Xactimate and Contractor Connection experience , understands reconstruction and insurance claim processes, and excels at building trust with customers. This position plays a key role in helping our team secure projects while delivering an exceptional client experience. What You'll Do Conduct site inspections and walkthroughs with customers and team members Review job documentation, photos, and reports to develop accurate estimates Create detailed scopes of work and estimates using Xactimate Partner with sales and project management teams to secure reconstruction projects Educate customers on the reconstruction process, timelines, and project expectations Present upgrade and change-order options beyond the base insurance scope Communicate professionally with insurance adjusters, carriers, and third-party administrators Analyze labor, material, equipment, and permitting requirements Deliver accurate, organized estimates in a timely manner Identify potential project challenges early and provide solutions Build strong customer relationships that generate referrals and repeat business Support smooth project handoffs to production teams after contract signing What We're Looking For Minimum 2 years of experience estimating restoration or reconstruction projects in Xactimate and Contractor Connection Minimum 2 years of reconstruction, restoration, or insurance adjusting experience Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to build rapport and confidence with homeowners, commercial clients, and insurance professionals Proven ability to support sales efforts through professionalism and relationship-building Experience with restoration, insurance claims, or large-loss projects preferred Familiarity with Docusketch and related documentation software preferred Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and time-management skills Valid driver's license and ability to travel to local job sites Why Join Us?
