Job Description:
Estimator | High-End Custom Residential & Commercial | Napa, CA | $130,000•160,000 DOE A premier custom builder based in Napa Valley, specializing in high-end residential and select commercial projects across the Bay Area, Napa Valley, and Sonoma. The culture is built around thoughtfulness, discipline, and a relentless commitment to excellence. This is a proactive strategic hire, not a backfill. The firm is investing in its preconstruction team for the long term, and the right person will have a path into leadership. What you'll own: Accurate cost estimates across all project phases•preliminary through construction budgets Constructability reviews to reduce changes and risk before they hit the field Project schedules guiding work from design through construction Subcontractor and supplier relationship development Active collaboration with clients, architects, and internal teams Creative value engineering and cost-saving solutions Continuous improvement of internal preconstruction processes What we're looking for: 3+ years of construction estimating experience Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field, or equivalent experience Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in estimating software (Destini or equivalent) Experience with project management platforms (CMiC or similar) Scheduling software proficiency (Primavera P6, MS Project, or comparable) BIM familiarity•Autodesk Revit and Navisworks preferred Clear communicator who is comfortable in client and design team settings Detail-oriented with the ability to see the big picture
Compensation & Benefits:
