Job Description

Inland Powder Coating Corp. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Estimator to join our team. This position is ideal for someone looking to begin a career in manufacturing, estimating, and customer service. The successful candidate will assist with preparing customer estimates and quotations, provide backup support to the Customer Service Department, and perform occasional office errands as needed. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Review customer drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Enter and maintain customer and project information in company systems. Provide backup support for Customer Service Representatives. Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with inquiries. Coordinate with production, scheduling, and customer service departments. Track and update quote status and customer requests. Maintain organized records and filing systems. Perform occasional office errands, including deliveries, pickups, banking, and supply runs. Assist with general office and administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Valid California Class C Driver's License and acceptable driving record. Will need to provide DMV printout. Previous office, customer service, manufacturing, or estimating experience is preferred but not required. Bilingual in Spanish Skills & Abilities Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Professional communication with customers and coworkers. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to retain easy formulations/information Ability to accurately calculate measurements, quantities, areas, volumes and material requirements Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and numerical data Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy in estimates
