Experience working on property insurance claims and communicating with adjusters. Proficient in Xactimate (required) Be able to complete an estimate with a Docusketch. Understand and adhere to guidelines set forth from insurance carriers. Be an expert and showcase your knowledge of restoring homes and businesses. Stay in constant communication with internal staff, Insurance Adjustors, homeowners, property managers and any other third party vendor programs. Oversee and assist with supplemental estimates on jobs until completion. Capable of writing small and large loss repair estimates for water and fire with a strong knowledge of building codes. Knowledge of construction and insurance coverage principles Strong delegation and follow-up skills Looking for estimator to cover Santa Barbara, Ventura and Los Angeles counties. Must live in our area of Ventura County or Santa Barbara County. Pay package is $60-$110k which includes annual salary, plus commission and car allowance.
