In this position, you will analyze project plans, prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects with great accuracy.

Responsibilities:

Review detailed construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents to develop comprehensive estimates. Conduct site visits to gather on-the-ground information that influences project pricing and planning. Collaborate with the team and clients to negotiate contracts, scope of work, and pricing terms. Analyze material costs, labor rates, subcontractor quotes, and equipment needs to ensure accurate budgeting. Monitor project budgets throughout the bidding process and during construction to maintain cost control. Assist in the development of project schedules and resource planning to align estimates with project timelines. Support contract negotiations and review contractual documents to mitigate risks and clarify scope. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, subcontractors and clients.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in construction estimating with a strong understanding of construction management principles. Minimum of 15+ years. Proficiency in estimating tools and industry-standard software. Solid knowledge of construction site operations, contracts, and project management practices. Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with subcontractors and vendors. Strong ability to analyze costs accurately while maintaining attention to detail under tight deadlines. Construction site experience is highly desirable for understanding on-the-ground realities influencing estimates. Strong communication skills to collaborate across teams and presenting clear proposals. Must be able to work under pressure and with short timelines.

Pay:

$100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
