Palm Desert, CA Full-Time | Growth Opportunity | Field & Office Role Overview Breeze Heating and Air is rapidly expanding in the Coachella Valley and is seeking a Commercial HVAC Estimator / Business Development Hunter to drive new construction and commercial project growth. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with experience in HVAC estimating, construction bidding, and contractor relationship development who thrives on finding opportunities, building partnerships, and closing profitable HVAC projects. You will play a key role in expanding our commercial HVAC and new construction division . Key Responsibilities Identify, pursue, and secure commercial HVAC and new construction projects Develop and maintain relationships with: General contractors Developers Builders Construction project managers Review and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications Perform material takeoffs and HVAC cost estimating Prepare accurate and competitive project bids and proposals Track and manage bid opportunities and pipeline activity Follow up with contractors and decision-makers to win awarded projects Maintain a consistent pipeline of upcoming construction opportunities Coordinate with internal operations teams after project award Required Qualifications Experience in HVAC estimating, commercial HVAC sales, or construction estimating Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and mechanical plans Proven success in business development or contractor relationship building Strong hunter mentality with ability to self-generate opportunities Highly organized with ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines Strong communication and negotiation skills Valid driver's license Preferred Skills Commercial HVAC project experience New construction bidding experience Knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical construction processes CRM or bid tracking software experience Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay structure (based on experience) Paid time off & holidays Health benefits Company vehicle Long-term growth opportunity in expanding HVAC division Direct impact on company revenue and project pipeline Why This Role is Unique This is not a traditional estimating position.
