This role will collaborate closely with the Project Management Office (PMO), engineering, procurement, and construction teams to develop accurate cost estimates, maintain estimating databases, and support cost control initiatives for complex, high-value aerospace infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for a wide range of construction scopes, including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and specialized aerospace facilities. Develop and maintain estimating templates, unit cost databases, and historical cost data specific to aerospace-grade construction. Collaborate with design engineers, project managers, and subcontractors to clarify scope and identify constructability considerations. Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings, specifications, and BIM models; validate assumptions and apply appropriate labor, material, and equipment rates. Generate bid packages, evaluate subcontractor quotations, and conduct value engineering analyses. Support change order evaluations and perform cost impact analysis throughout the project lifecycle. Contribute to risk assessments, contingency planning, and cost control reporting for leadership. Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and applicable government regulations (e.g., FAR, DFARS). Required Qualifications Certified Construction Estimator (CCE) or equivalent experience (5+ years of construction estimating experience). Minimum 2-4 years of experience performing construction estimating for large-scale, high-tech, or government-contracted projects. Experience with AI-enabled estimating tools or advanced estimating software. Proficiency with estimating tools such as Sage Estimating, WinEst, ProEst, and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI). Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, codes, and industry standards (e.g., AIA, ASCE). Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and BIM models. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex cost data effectively. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting aerospace or defense-related facilities, preferably within a prime contractor environment. Knowledge of government contracting regulations and cost accounting standards. BI03
