In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project specifications, and collaborating closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure projects are financially viable and aligned with client expectations. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality construction solutions efficiently and within budget, fueling our reputation for excellence in the industry. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive construction cost estimates by analyzing project plans, specifications, and bid documents using tools such as Procore. Project manager work with project owner to understand project scope, timelines, and budget constraints. Conduct detailed quantity takeoffs and pricing analysis to determine accurate project costs. Negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to secure competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards. Prepare bid proposals, contracts, and related documentation ensuring clarity and completeness. Monitor project costs throughout construction phases to ensure adherence to budgets through effective cost control strategies. Assist in reviewing construction schedules, contracts, and change orders to manage scope adjustments proactively. Qualifications Proven experience in construction estimating, with a strong understanding of construction processes and site operations. Proficiency in estimating software such as Procore; experience with Procore is highly desirable. Solid knowledge of construction management principles, contracts, and project management practices. Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with vendors and subcontractors. Ability to perform detailed quantity takeoffs, pricing analysis, and cost control measures accurately. Construction site experience that provides insight into on-the-ground realities impacting estimates.
