Position Summary :
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Estimating Coordinator to work from our corporate office in Riverside, CA. The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Non-Exempt General Summary of Position:
The estimating coordinator will facilitate the initial steps in the bidding process. This position will involve processing Bid Invitations, Addendums, Revisions, RFIs/RFPs & requests for projects bidding and projects under contract. This role is also in charge with completing client pre-qualifications and some marketing communication.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Manage prequalification requests from subcontractors Develop/Maintain/Organize vendor contacts in database system Create and keep track of online bid folder with ISQFT.net Assist estimators as needed in sending out bid invitations, addendums, and other information to subcontractors Identify and execute GFE (good faith efforts) requirements Following up with subcontractors and suppliers by phone Organize and Maintain bid quotes (via electronic and paper files) Track bid proposals and contacts on bid log Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents Identifies technical requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents Coordinate bids with estimators and clients. Prepare proposal for bid submission and turn them in as necessary Attend pre-bid meetings, as necessary Maintain organization and cleanliness of bid room Maintain/Order the Estimating Department office supplies Record and distribute bid results Prepare, design, and assemble proposals in accordance with owner requests including writing and editing project descriptions, company profiles, staff qualifications, etc. Assembly of technical and price proposal materials. Qualifications:
2+ years in an estimating coordinator or administrative/coordinator position Construction knowledge is preferred but not necessary Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, Dropbox or other file transfer websites (FTP) Excellent phone skills Must be able to work under deadline demands and in a fast paced environment Ability to multi-task, prioritize and move between multiple priorities Ability to work independently as well as in a team Must be good with attention to detail Ability to create, maintain and organize job files in both electronic and paper format Protects Company's value by keeping information confidential Valid Drive License Must pass pre-employment drug test/physical/background check (excluding tests for non-psychoactive cannabis metabolites in accordance with California law) . Physical Demands, Screen Time & Ergonomics Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Requires regular use of a computer, which entails looking at a monitor for extended periods; employer provides ergonomic workstations and rest breaks in accordance with California law Frequent use of keyboard, mouse, and telephone Occasional reaching, bending or lifting of small packages or files up to 20-25 lbs Work Environment Work is performed in a standard office environment. The employee will use a computer for most of the day in a well-lit, ventilated area. Noise levels are low to moderate. Close exposure to computer screens is constant in this role. The position may require moving between different office locations or floors (e.g., taking stairs).
