In this vital role, you will lead the estimation process for property damage repairs resulting from disasters, ensuring accurate cost assessments and effective project planning. Your energetic approach will help streamline restoration projects, coordinate with clients and contractors, and deliver exceptional service that restores properties efficiently and cost-effectively. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your construction estimating skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to making a tangible difference in communities. Duties Prepare detailed mitigation and restoration estimates using Xactimate software, accurately reflecting scope of work based on damage assessments Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to review estimates, negotiate costs, and ensure alignment on project scope and budget Utilize Bluebeam for document management, markup reviews, and plan revisions to facilitate clear communication across teams Conduct on-site inspections to assess damage severity, gather measurements, and document conditions for precise estimating Assist in developing project budgets by integrating construction costs, labor estimates, and material pricing while maintaining cost control standards Support contract negotiations by providing transparent pricing details and ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry standards Contribute to project management efforts by tracking progress, updating estimates as needed, and ensuring timely completion of restoration projects Requirements Proven experience in construction estimating with a strong focus on mitigation/restoration projects using Xactimate software Knowledge of construction processes, site management, and the restoration industry's best practices Familiarity with Bluebeam for digital document review and markup processes Strong negotiation skills to effectively communicate with clients, contractors, and vendors Experience with HeavyBid or similar estimating software is a plus but not required Solid understanding of construction contracts, project management principles, and cost control strategies Construction site experience or background in construction management is highly desirable Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously while maintaining accuracy Join us in transforming disaster response into a seamless restoration experience!
