Position Summary:
We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented Estimator / Project Manager to help inspect properties, prepare estimates, manage landscape projects, support field crews, and communicate with customers from start to finish. This role is ideal for someone who understands landscape construction, irrigation, planting, maintenance, and customer service, and who can help turn job opportunities into well-organized, profitable projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Meet with clients and inspect properties for landscape, irrigation, planting, maintenance, and improvement opportunities. Prepare accurate estimates, scopes of work, material lists, and project notes. Coordinate project details with crews, foremen, vendors, and customers. Review job tickets, photos, measurements, and site notes before work begins. Help schedule projects and confirm labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor needs. Track project progress and communicate updates to customers and management. Perform jobsite inspections to verify quality, safety, and completion of work. Identify change orders, added work, and upsell opportunities. Help maintain organized records using company software, mobile apps, photos, and documentation. Support company standards for professionalism, cleanliness, safety, and customer experience.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of landscape, irrigation, construction, estimating, or project management experience preferred. Strong understanding of landscape installation, irrigation systems, plant material, and basic hardscape. Ability to read plans, take measurements, and create clear scopes of work. Strong communication skills with customers, crews, and office staff. Comfortable using technology, including mobile apps, email, photos, and estimating software. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to walk jobsites, inspect properties, and work in outdoor environments. Highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented. Able to read, write, and speak English fluently. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
