Job Description:
Overview A growing industrial construction firm is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead cost development across piping, equipment, and facility-based projects within the upstream and midstream Oil and Gas and infrastructure sectors. Key Responsibilities Develop accurate estimates from drawings, specs, and bid packages Perform takeoffs for piping, valves, equipment, and structural components Build labor models using production rates and crew structures Identify constructability issues, risks, and scope gaps Evaluate vendor/subcontractor quotes and support bid strategy Collaborate with operations and engineering to validate execution approach Prepare cost summaries, proposals, and estimate documentation Manage multiple bids and support project handoff Requirements 5+ years estimating experience in industrial construction or energy Experience within upstream, midstream or downstream facilities Strong knowledge of piping systems, materials, and installation methods Proficiency with estimating tools
