Job Description

About Us:
At South Paw Electric, we're a growing electrical contractor with a reputation for delivering high-quality work across commercial and residential projects. We take pride in a team-first culture where every employee is valued, supported, and set up to succeed.
The Role:
We're looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Electrical Estimator with 3-7 years of experience to join our team. You'll play a key role in winning the projects that keep our crews busy and our business growing. What you'll do: Prepare accurate and competitive electrical estimates for commercial and residential projects Review plans, specs, and bid documents to identify scope and requirements Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier quotes Collaborate with project managers and field leadership on bid strategy Build and maintain relationships with owners, GCs, and vendors
What We're Looking For:
2 years+ of electrical estimating experience with an electrical contractor Solid understanding of commercial and residential electrical systems Proficiency with estimating software (Accubid and Bluebeam preferred) Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive salary: starting $85,000 depending on experience & performance-based discretionary bonuses Health, dental, and vision insurance IRA with company match Paid time off and holidays
