APPRAISER ASSISTANT
Competitive Commission Split with Bonus Potential | Medical, Dental & Life Insurance with AD&D | Education Allowance & License Fees Paid Commercial Appraiser Assistant Needed Valbridge Property Advisors | Utah is growing, and we have an immediate opening for an Appraisal Trainee. This is an excellent opportunity for experience and potential advancement within the commercial appraisal industry. A commercial real estate trainee license is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will need to be self-motivated and able to work independently. In Utah we have offices in Salt Lake County, Utah County and St. George. The right candidate will have the convenience to work from our Salt Lake or Utah County office. Responsibilities Assist commercial appraisers in conducting formal appraisals of real property or land for a variety of clients including lenders, attorneys, municipalities, and individual owners. Examine all variables that impact the property's value, including but not limited to, property history, neighborhood, sales data, and comparable sales. Strong analytical and research skills Knowledge and experience searching online to obtain market data for comparative analysis MS Office skills, preferably advanced knowledge of Excel and Word Strong attention to detail and accuracy Knowledge of financial math Utilization of technology Ability to communicate well with clients and coworkers, both written and orally Ability to self-start Ability to work independently Ability to multi-task Ability to solve problems Possess sound judgement, excellent time management and organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines. Professional, positive, and respectful attitude with clients, property owners, property contacts and co-workers. Salary, Status & Benefits We offer a competitive commission split with bonus potential. We can be flexible with the position being either full or part-time.
