Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, analyzing project plans and specifications, and collaborating closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors. Your expertise will help ensure projects are financially viable while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Responsibilities Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to develop comprehensive estimates. Utilize estimating software such as Timberline and Bluebeam to prepare detailed cost proposals. Conduct site visits to gather on-the-ground insights and assess project scope. Negotiate contracts and pricing with subcontractors and suppliers to secure the best terms. Monitor project costs throughout the construction process to ensure adherence to budgets. Collaborate with project management teams to develop accurate schedules and cost control strategies. Analyze bids, evaluate risks, and prepare detailed reports for decision-making. Qualifications Proven experience in construction estimating, with a strong understanding of construction processes and materials. Proficiency in Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other estimating or project management software. Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable contracts and pricing agreements. Hands-on construction site experience to accurately assess project requirements. Knowledge of construction management principles, contracts, and cost control techniques. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications with precision.
