This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in construction estimating, project management, and cost control while contributing to the successful delivery of diverse construction projects. As an integral part of our team, you will assist in preparing accurate project bids, analyzing project specifications, and supporting the overall estimation process. Duties Assist senior estimators in preparing detailed cost estimates for various construction projects by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and project scope documents Utilize estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to develop accurate pricing and takeoffs Support negotiation processes with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing Conduct site visits to gather on-the-ground insights and verify project conditions that impact cost estimates Collaborate with project management teams to ensure estimates align with project budgets, schedules, and contractual obligations Monitor and update cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle to maintain budget integrity Assist in reviewing contracts, change orders, and project documentation to ensure compliance and clarity Experience Prior experience or internship in construction estimating or related field is preferred but not required; a strong desire to learn is essential Familiarity with construction estimating principles, including cost analysis, pricing strategies, and bid preparation Experience using Bluebeam for digital document markup and collaboration is a plus Basic understanding of construction site operations and safety protocols Knowledge of construction management practices, including contract administration and project coordination Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with vendors, subcontractors, and team members Proficiency in using estimation software such as HeavyBid or similar tools is advantageous Join us if you're ready to kick-start your career in construction estimation!
