- High-visibility role with growth potential and direct collaboration with leadership Job Description Our client, a privately held aerospace tooling and precision manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Estimator / Process Engineer to support new and existing aerospace manufacturing projects.
- Review incoming RFQs and develop detailed cost estimates for aerospace manufacturing projects
- Analyze engineering drawings, BOMs, parts lists, models, and specifications
- Calculate material, labor, machining, tooling, and outside service costs
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and project support
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, workflow, and operational processes
- Prepare accurate estimates within customer deadlines
- Support additional engineering and process improvement initiatives as needed Qualifications and Requirements
- 5+ years of estimating experience within the aerospace manufacturing industry
- Strong understanding of aerospace machining, tooling, and manufacturing processes
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Experience estimating complex assemblies and tight-tolerance components
