Our team meets with homeowners, walks them through their options, and helps them make confident decisions about their homes — often becoming their go-to contractor for years to come. We're looking for a motivated, dependable sales professional who wants to take ownership of their territory and build long-term success within an established Connecticut brand. This would position would report to the Glastonbury headquarters but their focus would be the communities west of the Connecticut River, including areas such as West Hartford, Farmington, Avon, Simsbury, Canton, Burlington, and surrounding Hartford County towns. Turner Home Improvement has built strong brand recognition throughout Connecticut, creating consistent opportunities for motivated estimators who are willing to actively build relationships and grow their territory. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys building momentum through referrals, networking, repeat customers, and community visibility — not someone looking to simply run assigned appointments. What You'll Be Doing Meet with homeowners and evaluate exterior improvement needs Run 2-3 in-home appointments per day Inspect homes and identify exterior improvement opportunities (roofing, siding, windows, doors, gutters, decks) Educate homeowners and guide them through the best solutions Create detailed estimates, present pricing, and close sales Stay organized using our CRM and estimating software Participate in weekly sales meetings and ongoing training Build referral relationships within your territory Generate self-sourced opportunities through networking, community involvement, neighborhood marketing, referrals, and local outreach Leverage active projects and satisfied customers to create additional opportunities Actively manage and grow your pipeline through both inbound opportunities and self-generated business Territory Ownership & Lead Generation Turner Home Improvement has been serving Connecticut homeowners since 1955 and has built strong brand recognition throughout Hartford County. This role offers the opportunity to work in established residential communities where reputation, professionalism, and relationship-building matter. Many of our homeowners complete multiple exterior projects over time and frequently refer neighbors, friends, and family. While Turner provides strong brand recognition and consistent inbound opportunities, this is not a sit-back-and-wait sales role. Successful team members actively create opportunities, follow up consistently, ask for referrals, network locally, and build long-term relationships within their territory. At Turner, we believe the best salespeople create opportunities — not just wait for them. What Success Looks Like Running 2-3 in-home appointments per day, including evenings and occasional Saturdays Maintaining consistent availability and reliability for scheduled appointments Building trust quickly with homeowners through a consultative, no-pressure approach Staying organized and efficient using our CRM and estimating software Following up consistently and managing your pipeline Building long-term relationships that lead to repeat and referral business Taking initiative to grow your territory beyond inbound opportunities Maintaining a positive, solutions-focused attitude with homeowners and team members What We're Looking For Sales experience (in-home sales a plus, but not required) Strong communication skills and professional presence Self-motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented Reliable transportation Familiarity with Hartford County and west-of-the-river communities is a major plus Comfortable using laptops, CRM systems, and estimating software Basic construction or home improvement knowledge (or the ability to quickly learn) Comfortable working evenings (typically before 6pm) and offering Saturday availability (half days — mornings or afternoons) to accommodate homeowner schedules Someone who takes ownership of their results and understands that income growth comes from both closing appointments and building relationships within their territory Compensation & Benefits Base salary + uncapped commission Expected first-year earnings: $100,000+ Top performers: $150K-$200K+ Established brand recognition and consistent inbound opportunity flow Medical & dental insurance 401(k) retirement plan Company-provided Surface Pro Ongoing training and support Why Turner?
