will be responsible for:
Preparing detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment. Analyzing project specifications, blueprints, and other documents to determine project scope and requirements. Collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate budgeting and project planning. Sourcing and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing. Maintaining and update cost databases to ensure accurate and current pricing information. Assisting in identifying potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality. Preparing and present cost reports and summaries to stakeholders. Monitoring ongoing projects to ensure adherence to the approved budget and address any discrepancies. 5+ years in commercial construction estimating or preconstruction. Multifamily project experience preferred Must be able to quickly and accurately review plans and evaluate drawings. Familiarity with local jurisdictions, codes and review processes a plus. Superior attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
