$6.00 / hour Description About the Client Our client is a fast-growing residential and light-commercial electrical services company operating across the NY-NJ area. They're known for fast, reliable service, free virtual estimates in under one hour, and a streamlined customer experience. The team prides itself on quality, safety, and honest, affordable pricing backed by efficient scheduling and responsive communication. Why does this role exist? The client needs an experienced electrical professional who can accurately scope jobs from customer photos/videos and translate them into precise quotes inside Salesforce. Their current VA handles basic admin, leaving the owner to manage critical backend tasks like estimating, follow-ups, and converting leads. This role exists to own estimating, coordination, and follow-through so that quotes are accurate, jobs are scheduled quickly, and more leads become completed work orders. The Impact you'll make Quoting and Estimation Review customer photos/videos/files uploaded via Salesforce to assess the scope of work. Apply electrician knowledge to estimate labor time and necessary materials, producing accurate quotes using the Salesforce catalog. Call customers to clarify scope, gather additional details, and confirm measurements as needed. Enter quotes in Salesforce, attach media, and convert approved quotes into work orders. Job Scheduling and Coordination Schedule jobs and coordinate with contractors. Follow through on job schedules to ensure timely completion. Lead Management Manage lead follow-ups and respond to customer messages via text and email. Maintain accurate records in Salesforce.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Required:
Hands-on background in electrical, construction, HVAC, or electrical estimating (US or non-US markets), with proven experience creating estimates from customer photos/videos. Demonstrated ability to build quotes and convert them to work orders inside Salesforce. Strong Salesforce proficiency. Technical:
Electrical estimating, material takeoffs, labor-hour calculation; Salesforce (quotes, products/catalogs, work orders, attachments); Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive); WhatsApp; basic media tools (e.g., Canva/CapCut) to annotate images or compress clips.
Interpersonal:
Clear phone presence, active listening, empathy with customers, persuasive follow-ups.
Cognitive:
Attention to detail, critical thinking, ability to infer scope from limited inputs, problem-solving under time constraints.
Work habits:
Ownership mindset, reliability, responsiveness, and strong time management.

Computer with at least 8GB RAM, an Intel i5 core processor/AMD Ryzen 5 Processor and up.
