Electrical Estimator for the Service Department - Commercial & Healthcare Projects Boca Raton, Florida (On-site HQ) What You'll Be Doing Craft detailed and competitive electrical cost estimates for complex commercial, healthcare, and institutional projects. Analyze plans and specs to determine materials, equipment, and labor needs. Develop design-build and conceptual estimates that wow our clients and win bids. Perform take-offs, price change orders, and occasionally don your hard hat for site visits. Team up with engineers, project managers, and clients to make ideas constructible and cost-effective. Collaborate with vendors and subs to ensure we're getting the best deals, and the best results. Present estimates and proposals that are clear and competitive. What You Bring to the Table Bachelor's degree in construction, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3-5 years of estimating experience in commercial, healthcare, or light industrial projects. Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred Experience using Accubid or similar estimating software. Strong understanding of NEC and local codes. Ability to read and interpret architectural, mechanical, and electrical drawings. Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills. A passion for collaboration, problem-solving, and delivering high-quality work.
