Estimator Mechanical & Plumbing

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Mechanical & Plumbing Estimator with strong expertise in commercial construction projects only . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using FastPIPE and FastEST to prepare accurate and competitive estimates for plumbing and mechanical systems on large commercial projects This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of commercial MEP systems, and the ability to collaborate with project managers, vendors, subcontractors, and clients to deliver timely and precise estimates. Key Responsibilities Prepare complete mechanical and/or plumbing estimates for commercial construction projects from conceptual budgeting through final bid submission Perform detailed quantity takeoffs using FastPIPE and FastEST Review and interpret plans, specifications, addenda, and bid documents Analyze project scope and identify risk factors, exclusions, and value-engineering opportunities Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing Develop labor, material, and equipment cost estimates Coordinate with project management and operations teams during bid handoff Maintain historical cost data and estimating databases Attend pre-bid meetings and site walkthroughs as required Assist with budget development and conceptual estimating for negotiated work Ensure estimates align with company margin goals and project requirements Required Qualifications 3-7+ years of estimating experience in commercial mechanical and plumbing construction Proficiency with FastPIPE and Fast

Strong understanding of:
