Summary As an Electrical Estimator at Current Electric Service Inc., you will review commercial electrical plans, perform takeoffs, use bid software and communicate to subcontractors and general contractors. This role is pivotal in driving our mission of delivering exceptional electrical services while maintaining high safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of estimating commercial new construction and renovations Develop project budgets and ensure cost control throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, project managers and clients to ensure project requirements are met. Maintain and expand relationships with general contractors, subcontractors and vendors Manage estimating workflow, bid schedules and deadlines Analyze blueprints, specifications and project documentation Prepare detailed construction estimates using ConEst Intellibid. Maintain organized estimating notes and tracking Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors and subcontractors Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations, safety and quality standards Support project management up to completion of awarded projects Qualifications Proven experience as an Commercial Electrical Project Manager and Estimator for minimum 5 years Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations (NEC) Established relationships within the construction industry preferred Attention to detail and understanding of job specifications Proficient in estimating software (Intellibid, Microsoft 365) Familiarity with project management software such as Procore and construction connect is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
