POSITION SUMMARY
The candidate will work on tasks that are related to project cost estimation, preparing a complete and comprehensive Bid Package for review by the Senior Estimator and Preconstruction Manager prior to any Project date line. More particularly, but not limited to, the candidate will work on detailed pricing estimate aiming for self-performing works in structure and civil trades among others.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Properly develop RFI's Communicate properly orally and written. Performing Quantity Take Offs. Calculate detailed quantities in material, labor and equipment costs. Elaborate detailed estimates breakdown in material, labor, equipment and indirect costs associated with the construction task. Maintain Subcontractor bid list Communication with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain prices. Collecting and organizing data for use in bid proposals Liaise with third parties such as JV partners, partners, designers
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Candidate must have at least 5 years of experience performing the duties described above Proficient Excel, MS Word, Onscreen takeoff or similar, Bluebeam or similar.
