The Estimator will be responsible for reviewing bid invitations, preparing and reviewing cost estimates and budgets, and coordinating with sub-contractors and vendors. In this role, the Estimator will also be responsible for negotiating costs and managing the bid process from start to finish. Qualifications Conduct comprehensive estimates and analysis for assigned scopes. Compile bids for various contract types including Lump Sum, CM, GMP, and Cost Plus. Oversee project document management and ensure proper organization. Ability to read, understand, and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents. Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, and Procore. Experience in Ground-Up, Repositioning, and Interior Office Projects. Serve as the main point of contact with subcontractors, design team, and clients. Facilitate constructability evaluations and recommend cost-effective alternatives. Understand and define all elements of a detailed trade package scope. Collaborate with Operations and other estimators on estimate details. Draft scope requests, prevent overlaps, and conduct comparative evaluations. Assess subcontractor bids, lead Post Bid Reviews, and finalize subcontract scopes. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, construction management or a related field 10+ years of estimation experience Professional certifications such as Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) are not required but are a plus.
