Job Duties:
Prepare and determine cost estimates for commercial construction projects and services with an understanding of the engineering aspect. Review engineering plans, construction drawings, and project specifications to determine scope and costs. Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracted services needed for projects. Analyze project data and historical costs to develop budgets, forecasts, and construction engineering alternatives. Consult with project managers, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors to obtain pricing and verify specifications. Monitor project expenditures and prepare cost reports and updates for management.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Management or a closely related field.
