Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Estimator, where your expertise will drive the success of our projects from initial concept to completion. In this vital role, you will analyze project plans, prepare accurate cost estimates, and collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure competitive pricing and effective cost control, setting the foundation for high-quality construction outcomes. Responsibilities Review detailed project drawings, specifications, and bid documents to develop comprehensive estimates. Conduct site visits to assess construction conditions, gather accurate data, and validate project scope. Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and negotiate favorable terms. Prepare detailed bid packages that include material costs, labor estimates, equipment needs, and contingency allowances. Monitor project budgets during execution to ensure adherence to cost control targets. Assist in contract negotiations and review contractual documents related to project scope and pricing. Experience Proven experience in construction estimating with a strong understanding of construction management processes. Hands-on construction site experience that provides insight into on-the-ground realities of building projects. Knowledge of contracts, project management principles, and cost control strategies within the construction industry. Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with vendors, subcontractors, and clients to secure optimal pricing. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously while maintaining accuracy. Pay $75,000 - $100,000
DOE Pay:
$75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
