Multi-Residential / Condo Development & Construction A growing builder/developer specializing in multi-residential, condominium, and residential community projects is seeking an experienced Estimator / Purchaser to join their team in Alpharetta, GA. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented construction professional with strong estimating and purchasing experience in residential and vertical construction environments. The company is known for delivering high-quality residential communities and is looking for someone who can play a key role in preconstruction, budgeting, vendor management, and procurement efforts across multiple projects. Responsibilities Prepare detailed conceptual and hard bid estimates for multi-residential, condo, townhouse, and single-family projects Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing Manage purchasing activities, including buyout and procurement of materials and trades Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to develop accurate cost projections Work closely with development, construction, and project management teams throughout preconstruction and construction phases Assist with budgeting, value engineering, and scope review Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and consultants Track pricing trends and maintain cost databases Qualifications 5+ years of estimating and/or purchasing experience within residential or multifamily construction Experience estimating single-family homes and townhome projects required Experience with vertical construction projects strongly preferred Builder/developer experience is highly preferred Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and procurement processes Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contracts Proficiency with estimating software and Excel Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills Preferred Background Multifamily, condo, or mixed-use project experience Experience supporting multiple active developments simultaneously Self-starter with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and growing organization with a strong pipeline of residential development projects throughout the region.
