1-10 Years About Us We are a growing commercial subcontractor specializing in multi-family cabinet and countertop packages . Our work includes large-scale apartment, mixed-use, and hospitality projects. We partner directly with overseas manufacturers and domestic suppliers to deliver competitive pricing, consistent quality, and reliable project execution. As an Preconstruction Estimator, you will be responsible for evaluating and determining the approximate costs of construction and developing Take-offs and Estimates. This role requires experience to price significant and prominent projects within the industry, and an understanding of construction trades, product types, building techniques, material, labor costs, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Review architectural and engineering drawings to perform precise material takeoffs, calculating the exact quantity, size, and type of cabinetry required for unit kitchens, bathrooms, and common areas. Analyze project proposals to determine costs and prepare detailed estimates. Communicate with project team to clarify project details. Collaborating with other departments and providing occasional support to project managers during the construction phase. Work independently on multi-family projects. Experience in multi-family construction or a related field, and/or a bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related discipline. Professional certifications in construction estimating or project management are a plus. Thorough knowledge of multiple product types and trades.

Systems Knowledge:

Knowledgeable in Excel, Outlook, Adobe, and/or estimating software such as Bluebeam and AutoCAD.

Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills with the capacity to work well under pressure. Proficient in construction estimating software and tools, reviewing and interpreting construction documents, reading and writing of technical specifications.
