$120k - $140K About the Role A growing commercial general contractor is seeking a Senior Estimator to join its team in Duluth, GA . This position will lead estimating and preconstruction efforts for a variety of commercial construction projects, including Retail, Healthcare and Industrial projects, working closely with operations, subcontractors, and clients to develop accurate and competitive project budgets. Responsibilities Prepare conceptual, budget, and hard-bid estimates for commercial construction projects. Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents. Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis. Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing. Develop scopes of work and bid packages. Participate in value engineering and preconstruction planning. Collaborate with project teams during project turnover. Identify project risks, opportunities, and cost-saving solutions. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. 7+ years of estimating experience with a commercial general contractor. Strong understanding of commercial construction methods and building systems. Experience preparing detailed estimates and managing subcontractor pricing. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating software. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Preferred Experience with Sage Estimating, Bluebeam, OST, WinEst, or similar software.
