Labor Estimator

QXO (formerly R&D Thiel) located in Aurora, IL is the Chicago-land leader in the component manufacturing and field labordistribution of interior millwork components. We are seeking a full-time Millwork Estimator. Experience Combination of field carpentry and front office computer expertise Minimum of 3 years of experience in related carpentry/construction fields Minimum of 3 years of experience in estimating by performing take-offs, margin pricing, and final submittals Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Well versed in Bluebeam, BisTrack and Estimating Edge, or related computer estimating software Job Description Conduct quantity take-offs for all items incorporated in the project per details and architectural plans Read, understand and incorporate project documents, drawings and specifications Price out and summarize estimates to include scope of work details Issue lot specific itemized orders daily per jobsite scheduled delivery dates paired with shop fabrication lead times Other Requirements Must be able to work independently and take initiative Excellent organizational skills
