A well-established and highly respected General Contractor is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their growing team. This company has a strong history in the Chicago area and delivers a diverse portfolio of commercial, K-12, and light industrial projects, typically valued up to $50M. They are known for consistent work, long-term stability, and a team-oriented culture.
Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for ground-up and renovation projects Review plans, specifications, and bid documents Manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously Collaborate with project teams, clients, and design professionals Analyze project risks and cost variables
Qualifications:
5+ years of estimating experience within a General Contractor environment Experience with commercial, educational, or light industrial projects Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing Proven track record of accuracy and consistency
