Job Description

Estimator - Structural Steel & Miscellaneous Metals We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join a growing structural steel and miscellaneous metals contractor. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented professional looking for long-term stability and career growth within a solid organization.
Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for structural steel and miscellaneous metals projects Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients during the bidding process Assist with value engineering and cost-saving opportunities
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in the structural steel and/or miscellaneous metals industry Strong understanding of fabrication and erection processes Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
