Travel to job site locations in the Chicago area may be required Duties include: Complete detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for drywall and light gauge framing projects including cold-formed metal framing using QuickBid and On-Screen Takeoff Review and summarize scope of work and assemble pricing templates Solicit and review subcontractor proposals Solicit material pricing Verify pricing and production data Maintain Pricing and Production rate database Assemble final bid forms and pricing

Skills/Qualifications:

Strong math and organizational skills Ability to read, understand, and summarize construction documents Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook Experience with QuickBid and On-Screen Takeoff estimating software or similar system is required Ability to work under deadlines with emphasis on follow-up Excellent oral and written communication skills Experience in the Chicago area commercial construction industry is strongly preferred Experience with the public bidding process is strongly preferred Current or former tradesmen are encouraged to apply.

Salary:

$60,000
